What is the first thing you do when you wake up?
As much as I wish it weren’t so, I immediately go on my phone for a minimum of an hour.
Have you ever felt genuine fulfillment? When?
Anytime I’m belly-laughing with loved ones. It’s so cute to think about the need to gasp/yell because you are so happy about whatever happened/was said.
What is your most repetitive, negative thought?
That I’ve already left the ‘good times’ in my life and that I’ll always be stuck thinking about what once was.
What is your most repetitive, positive thought?
That I am a fun girl to be around!
What is one thing that surprised you about adulthood?
As someone who recently graduated college, I am realizing that everyone is just as stressed as I am.
What are three things you want to put every woman onto?
8+ hours of sleep
Regular orgasms (with a partner or yourself) will greatly improve your attitude. I promise.
Being honest! Don’t agree to things you don’t want to do, don’t pretend to be something you’re not, etc.
Rank the following from most to least important:
money, food, sex, love, and laughter (feel free to explain or don’t).
Love, laughter, sex, food, then money.
Although laughter and sex could probably be interchangeable for me.
How has your relationship with your parents/ guardians changed in adulthood?
My mom and I had a tough relationship for a very long time. We never saw eye-to-eye on things. She was strict, and I was sneaky. The older I get, the more I remember that she is my mother; she gave me everything and only wants the best for me.
When do you feel most like yourself?
When I’m making people laugh!
What is the best compliment someone has ever given you?
That I am confident and true to myself and that I’ve inspired others to live the way they want to, say what they want to, etc!
How do you feel about falling in love?
Being in love is the best thing EVER. I have been in love three times and have no regrets. I almost feel like it’s a taboo thing to say, but my main goal in life is to find my person. Being in love is what it means to be human, and I will never apologize for trusting and loving people! Even if it means there will be heartbreak.
What is one thing you’re sick of hearing?
That everything will work out. I know that! But let me be reasonably upset for now… lol
How often do you feel alone?
Although I’d consider myself blessed with the number of people in my life, I do feel like I am alone in my thoughts a lot. This is not due to radical thinking but the fact that I grew up very differently than many of my counterparts and feel like I see the world much differently than most. That is an isolating feeling sometimes.
What is one thing you hope everyone experiences in their lifetime?
Being madly in love, the healthy, soul-baring kind.
What is one thing you hope no one has to experience in their lifetime?
Betrayal.
What is the best decision you’ve ever made?
Realizing that I am one of one, completely unique, and loving every bit of who I am/have become!
When do you feel most at ease?
With my boyfriend, but we are newly, VERY long-distance now. Which has been difficult. So, I’m learning to be at ease on my own.
What does having a successful life mean to you?
It means having a life with the person I love most, in our house… and it smells like lilacs! And I laugh often.
How often do you think about your body?
For the past few months, it has become everyday. I used to be very confident in my body, never giving it thought, but being fed and loved in a relationship made my body change. I’m learning to love it because I am a growing adult woman!
When do you ask for help?
For physical/non-important things: all the time.
For emotional things: very rarely. I struggle with finding the words to match up with exactly how I feel. Writing helps.
What is something you feel strongly about?
That sex and love go hand-in-hand, and our sexuality and prowess are wonderful things that no one should be ashamed of. Of course, there’s a time and a place, but I’ve always thought it so odd how many women, specifically, are so shy to be their most raw, sensual selves! Sex is nature! And I believe sex reveals much about who we are, let’s learn about our deepest selves!
BONUS: Tell me something good.
The time will pass anyway!
