#426. burying a husband, manifesting a tree house & tapping into a healthy current

Age: 68

Relationship Status: Married (for the second time. I am a widow.)

Occupation: Storyteller

Income: 50k

Astrological Sign: Libra

Describe your ideal morning:

Coffee on the porch, listening to the birds.

What is the last thing you think about before going to sleep?

A to-do list for the next day, but the absolute last thought is “Something magical is happening tomorrow.”

If you could talk openly about any of the following ‘taboo’ subjects at a dinner party: politics, religion, money, or sex, what is one question you would pose to the table?

If you consider yourself Christian, and God has the ultimate authority in the skin color given, why do you think your opinion is superior to God’s?

What is something you wish were taught in school?

Respect for others - there is magic in truly listening to someone else’s point of view.

How do you define personal happiness?

Confidence and contentment in my well-being, emotionally, physically, and financially.

When do you feel most helpless?

Financial scarcity.

What is something you are nostalgic about?

When my first husband was alive. I truly get homesick for my old life, especially around the holidays.

When does, or will, your life feel complete?

I am satisfied with my life. My aspirations for further success are out of my control.

What is something you have forgiven, but will never forget?

How my husband’s family cut me off when I began a relationship after his death. They taught me a lesson: the difference between conditional and unconditional love. I forgive their ignorance because they haven’t yet been where I have been in grief.

What is one decision that seemed small at the time, but completely changed the direction or course of your life?

Not consulting with a fiduciary after my husband passed.

What is something that comes easily to you?

Meeting new people.

What is the hardest thing you’ve ever done?

Bury my husband.

Where is your favorite place on Earth?

It is a combination of places, and one I’m manifesting: A tree-filled home in the woods with a healthy stream nearby.

If you woke up tomorrow and were in charge of EVERYTHING, what would be the first thing you would do to make the world a better place?

I would do my best. It’s as simple as that. Whatever is brought to me to decide, I would do my best.

Finish this sentence: money can’t buy you happiness, but it can afford you…

Comfort.

What is the best thing you have been gifted or purchased on your own within the last year?

Flowers.

If you could give a woman who is 10 years younger than you a single piece of advice, what would it be?

Don’t take yourself too seriously. When things feel overwhelming, get out of your head and into nature. Nature heals.

Is there anyone who knows everything about you?

No.

If you knew that life was short, what is one thing you would do right now?

Have a long lunch with lots of love and laughs with my nearest and dearest.

If you knew that life was long, what is one thing you would do right now?

Exactly what I’m doing.

BONUS: Tell me something good. Love, no matter the kind, such as romantic, friend, family, an occupation … is what matters.

Love who you love. Treat your friends as family.

Love what you do. Chase a job that you love, for it won’t feel like a job at all.

The money will follow.

Lastly … everything is energy. Tap into a healthy current.
