Relationship Status: Single

Astrological Sign: Leo

What is the first thing you do when you wake up?

Roll over and check my phone to see what time it is and if I have any messages.

Have you ever felt genuine fulfillment? When?

Yes. On the last day of my twenties, I had never felt happier or more at peace. It was a magical moment.

What is your most repetitive, negative thought?

I’m not doing enough. I question my job and daily routine and wonder what I can be doing better. How can I make a difference? Am I wasting my days? Am I really living? It’s relentless.

What is your most repetitive, positive thought?

Everything is going to work out, even if I don’t know how or when. The universe has my back, and I’m being guided, even when I can’t see it.

What is one thing that surprised you about adulthood?

Grocery shopping and laundry are a never-ending loop. The second you think either is done, it’s back to square one.

What are three things you want to put every woman onto?

  1. Make sure to put moisturizer on your ears, back, neck, chest, and hands.

  2. Laser hair treatment for the bikini area is a lifesaver.

  3. Your hands are beautiful and delicate. Keep your nails polished or bare, but never chipped.

Rank the following from most to least important:

money, food, sex, love, and laughter (feel free to explain or don’t).

Love, food, laughter, sex, money.

How has your relationship with your parents/ guardians changed in adulthood?

Before, I used to view them in such extremes: Good vs. Bad. Light vs. Dark. Now, I see them as people. Equally flawed. I accept the role they’ve played in my life and do my best to understand.

When do you feel most like yourself?

When I wear my hair naturally with minimal makeup.

What is the best compliment someone has ever given you?

“You’re not afraid to be yourself.”

How do you feel about falling in love?

I miss it. I’m open to it. I’m excited for it to happen again. It’s the biggest thrill of life.

What is one thing you’re sick of hearing?

“One day, it’ll just click, and you’ll want kids.” I really don’t know that it will.

How often do you feel alone?

Every single day. I’ve felt the most isolated and alone in the last few years. I’ve had to get very comfortable with my own company because whether I want it or not, it’s usually just me.

What is one thing you hope everyone experiences in their lifetime?

True love.

What is one thing you hope no one has to experience in their lifetime?

Not telling the people we love/loved what they’ve meant to us before they pass.

What is the best decision you’ve ever made?

Seeking treatment for an eating disorder that had been brewing under the surface for so long.

When do you feel most at ease?

At the beach. It’s the one place where I don’t feel anxious and where everything washes away.

What does having a successful life mean to you?

Making a difference in people’s lives. Being of service. Living authentically. Seeing the world.

How often do you think about your body?

Every single day. Whether I want to or not, whether I catch it or not—I’m always observing it and judging it, for better or worse.

When do you ask for help?

When there are no options left.

What is something you feel strongly about?

Every animal shelter should be a no-kill shelter. Period. Adopt, don’t shop. There are thousands of animals in shelters waiting for someone to give them love and rescue them.

BONUS: Tell me something good.

I love myself.
