What is the first thing you do when you wake up?

After my alarm goes off, I give myself ten minutes to wake up (lay in bed, stretch, and remind myself what I’m grateful for). I think starting each day in a positive mental headspace is so important.

Have you ever felt genuine fulfillment? If yes, When?

Almost every day. I’ve felt more fulfillment in the past year than I have in my whole life. It’s so lovely to finally feel this way when you embrace yourself fully.

What is your most repetitive, negative thought?

Would it matter if I was not here?

What is your most repetitive, positive thought?

You are on this earth to make a positive impact.

What is one thing that surprised you about adulthood?

How many people are so afraid to be alone.

What are three things you want to put every woman onto?

  1. Talk kindly to yourself

  2. Enjoy your own company

  3. Learn self-awareness/ accountability

Rank the following from most to least important:

money, food, sex, love, and laughter (feel free to explain or don’t).

Love

Laughter

Food

Money

Sex

(Don’t get me wrong, this list changes depending on the day )

How has your relationship with your parents/ guardians changed in adulthood?

I’ve learned boundaries, and I stand up for myself. I look at them more as people now. I had a toxic home life; it was a lesson to myself about what I want my life, as an adult, to feel like.

When do you feel most like yourself?

When I’m listening to music and dancing, at a concert, or just enjoying time with close friends

What is the best compliment someone has ever given you?

“You’re the best kid.” My Grandpa always told me this, even as an adult…he was my hero.

How do you feel about falling in love?

Hopeful but a bit hesitant.

What is one thing you’re sick of hearing?

That women are too emotional. That’s one of the most beautiful things about us.

How often do you feel alone?

Every once in a while. Don’t get me wrong, I love my own company, but sometimes you just want to feel needed.

What is one thing you hope everyone experiences in their lifetime?

A trip abroad to soak in the culture, the magic of being among complete strangers, and to be in their world. Try not to schedule every minute of your time there, be spontaneous and let go!

What is one thing you hope no one has to experience in their lifetime?

Watching your loved ones struggle with dementia or any horrible illness that robs them of who they were.

What is the best decision you’ve ever made?

To support myself and not have to rely on anyone else for my happiness.

When do you feel most at ease?

At night, reflecting on my day, listening to music, and completely relaxing or out on the trails taking a walk.

What does having a successful life mean to you?

It means I’m living a life that is true to myself. Not how others think I should live. I can support myself, provide stability, and remind myself of the amazing people who’ve impacted my life.

How often do you think about your body?

Every day. I don’t look at it and point out flaws anymore. I’m grateful for what it helps me do every day.

When do you ask for help?

Rarely. I’ve had to learn to be hyper-independent. I’ve gotten better, especially with starting a new career. Surprisingly, I have found out how willing some are to be of assistance!

What is something you feel strongly about?

Women’s rights. Being an advocate for animals as well.

BONUS: Tell me something good.

Life is good!!! You wake up for a reason every day; each day can hold big or little surprises and there is nothing like being able to unplug and be in the moment with others.
