Astrological Sign: Capricorn

What is the most important part of your daily routine?

Decompressing after work. It helps me balance work and my personal life.

What is your current happiness most dependent on?

Job stability and financial independence.

What do you wish you were less reliant on?

As a dual-income household member, I hope to be financially free enough to support the entire household if needed.

When do you question yourself?

When I initiate a new project at work; I’m usually the youngest one in the room, so I feel that I need to prove myself and my skills.

What is something that has positively impacted how you perceive your self-worth?

Sobriety. After losing employment in 2022, I spiraled and questioned everything about my life and my worth. I tied so much of my worth to my job (still working on that) that it sent me into a dark place, and I really struggled with drinking. Now, I’ve conquered being sober, and it’s made me so much more confident.

What is something you have forgiven yourself for?

Picking up unhealthy habits. When life got hard, I did what I could to survive, but that meant losing my grip on a healthy lifestyle. I have to pick up the pieces and work on regaining those healthy habits, but I forgive myself because I did my best.

What is something you have forgiven someone else for?

I have forgiven old friends for the reasons we’re no longer in contact. We outgrew each other, and I hope they’re doing well.

How do you ground/center yourself?

Quiet time and reconnecting with hobbies. I lost many hobbies when I battled drinking. Now, taking an hour or so a week helps me feel connected to myself.

What is one thing that helped you through your most difficult time?

GETTING SOBER. It was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do, but I feel like a completely new person.

Have you ever felt like the best version of yourself? When?

A few years ago, I was healthy and active, and I feel like that was close to being my best version. I think the best version of myself has yet to come, though. I might never meet the best version of myself because I’m always trying to improve.

What is something you fundamentally disagree with?

The best years of your life are when you’re younger. Life gets better as you get older, grow, and understand yourself more.

What is something you know for sure?

I know I can overcome anything.

What are three of your non-negotiables in romantic relationships?

  1. Honesty and loyalty

  2. Quality time together

  3. A commitment to growing together

When do you feel most comfortable in your own skin?

At home with my family, doing hobbies or activities together.

Have you ever been in awe of something/someone? When?

Maybe not any one time, but I’m in awe when I’m surrounded by nature in spectacular ways. Usually, during the fall time when the leaves have turned, or when there’s fresh snowfall, and the world is quiet.

What is the best (physical/material) gift you have ever received?

The best gift was either a trip to Disney World with money to spend or a custom-built PC.

What is one thing you wish you had said ‘yes’ to in the past?

I wish I’d said yes to more things in college. I wish I’d said yes to clubs or Greek life because I think I would have made more friends.

What is one thing you will always say ‘no’ to in the future?

I’ll always say no to being in the company of people who are always negative or don’t add positivity to my life.

What do you believe is your most attractive quality?

My will. I lost it a bit, but I have an iron will. When I decide to make a change or make something happen, I do it.

What/who do you want to be when you grow up?

I want to be myself, but healthy and active and making my dreams a reality.

BONUS: Tell me something good.

We have the power to CHANGE. If we don’t like who we are or how we feel, we have the power EVERY DAY to change how we think and act. It’s never too late.
