What is your first thought every morning?
How many hours is it until I'm back in bed?
What is something you do solely for you?
I go to the gym 6x a week; it’s my me time.
What is something you dread?
Getting asked about my lack of boyfriend at every family function.
What is something you are looking forward to?
The rest of my 20’s! I’m loving this age.
When do you feel most accomplished?
When I have a productive day at work, I really struggle with motivation sometimes.
What is something you regret investing in financially?
I don’t really have regrets; I believe a ‘regret’ is simply you making the best decision you can at a certain time. I spent a lot of money on fast fashion when I was younger, though, and I could’ve used it somewhere else, but oh well!
What is something you regret investing in emotionally?
There are certain friends I have given my all to emotionally who gave nothing back - but like I said previously, I thought I was making a good decision at the time, so how can I regret that?
What are three things you think are absolutely worth the investment?
(financially, emotionally, or time/energy-wise)
Your health
Good quality friendships
A pair of leather, knee-high boots
When do you feel most creative?
In the morning, I get ready and do my makeup/hair.
How often do you compare yourself to others? When?
Every second of consciousness.
What is one thing you’d like to thank your past self for?
For not letting fear get in the way of trying new things.
What is one thing you believe about your future self?
That I’ll be okay, even though I have no idea what my future looks like.
What is one thing you learned in childhood that you have now had to unlearn in adulthood?
That my parents are always right.
Have you ever felt pure joy? When?
I was drunk on a boat, dancing to Fred Again.
What is something that would feel really good to get off your chest?
That I love my mum but she can be an awful person.
When do you feel most in your feminine energy?
Singing to pop songs in my car.
What is one interaction that changed your life?
Getting made fun of in school for singing and laughing with my friends. At that moment, I realized someone will always try to bring you down, so you must ignore it and move on.
What is something you want to give up?
My judgment of others. Sometimes my thoughts about others can be so mean that I don’t even recognize myself.
What is something you want to take up?
Cooking. I hate it, but I’m sick of eating the same thing every day.
What do you believe is a universal truth?
That letting go of what you can’t control is the key to happiness.
BONUS: Tell me something good.
In Australia, a bird called a rainbow lorikeet mates for life and always flies around in its pair for the rest of its life.
