What is your first thought every morning?

I typically use the weather to determine my thoughts every morning. If it’s rainy and gloomy I tell myself, I’ll have a slow day and won’t overextend myself. If it’s sunny and lively outside I will strive to be more active, adventurous, and outgoing.

What is something you do solely for you?

Dedicating my Sundays to self-care. Replenishing and cleaning and focusing on myself allow for my week to feel a little bit lighter.

What is something you dread?

This never used to be me, but now I often dread seeing family now. It’s always a negative conversation and I always get asked why I don’t have certain things or why I do things a certain way. I always feel depleted after I see them.

What is something you are looking forward to?

I’m looking forward to eventually quitting my full time job so I can wake up every day following my dream as an artist.

When do you feel most accomplished?

When I finish a painting and get rewarded for my talent/work. It’s also the best feeling seeing a customer’s emotional, happy reaction to seeing their vision come to life through a painting!

What is something you regret investing in financially?

Anything trendy or viral, just buy what works for you. De-influencing was the best thing I’ve done.

What is something you regret investing in emotionally?

Men who don’t match their actions with their words.

What are three things you think are absolutely worth the investment?

(financially, emotionally, or time/energy-wise)

  1. Spend money on what you’re interested in and learning experiences (art classes, cooking classes, gardening, crochet, color analysis, reiki etc.)

  2. Ask Chat GPT based on your personality, goals, and problems what books you should buy that will help you, especially if you can’t afford therapy. If you don’t like to read – ask what podcasts can help!

  3. Invest in acupuncture, reiki, or meditation rituals. Sometimes they are more effective than traditional therapies.

When do you feel most creative?

When I go out in nature to seek out what I should paint.

How often do you compare yourself to others? When?

When I catch up with friends. It’s often hard to relate because they’re all getting engaged, married, or having kids. Meanwhile, I'm like, “Oh, I bought more paper today,” and they just respond with, “Oh… cool.” It sometimes makes me feel like my life isn’t as eventful in comparison.

What is one thing you’d like to thank your past self for?

Putting myself first, above everything and everyone else.

What is one thing you believe about your future self?

I believe I’ll fall in love one day regardless of whether it’s next week or in the next 20 or 30 years. I think it’s worth waiting for and I believe there is a good, hardworking man out there who will take care of my heart.

What is one thing you learned in childhood that you have now had to unlearn in adulthood?

In childhood, I learned to hide my feelings or believe they didn’t matter, but in adulthood, I've realized that vulnerability is one of the strongest traits a person can have, and I aim to embrace that as much as possible.

Have you ever felt pure joy? When?

I feel pure joy when I find a new album, artist, or song I love. Nothing else matters except enjoying that piece of music!

What is something that would feel really good to get off your chest?

With my exes, I wish I had been able to properly express how I felt about how things ended and how I was treated. It may not be healthy to seek closure, but I still wish they understood how their treatment impacted me.

When do you feel most in your feminine energy?

When I put on a dress, makeup, and am in my creative element filming art content. Also, when I fully relax my body and mind and meditate on letting go of control.

What is one interaction that changed your life?

When I was 5 years old, I’d visit and talk to one of my neighbors often and they were a toy designer. One day I told her about a specific toy I wanted her to make for me and a week later she created it exactly how I pictured it in my head. This interaction inspired me to create for others as well!

What is something you want to give up?

Holding onto traumas and negative experiences from the past.

What is something you want to take up?

I want to learn how to teach people about art therapy and my art techniques in general.

What do you believe is a universal truth?

Nature has the power to bring peace and healing.

BONUS: Tell me something good.

I never thought my paintings would sell and in the past 6-7 months I’ve sold over 20+ paintings just by posting my artwork online!
