Age: 36

Relationship Status:  Married

Occupation:  Real Estate Agent

Income:  Varies year to year (+/- of working for yourself!)

Astrological Sign: Taurus

What is the first thing you do when you wake up?

I’m not proud of this, but if I’m being honest - scan my phone to respond to all texts/emails from clients.

Have you ever felt genuine fulfillment? When?

Reaching career milestones have always given me a dose of fulfillment, but genuine fulfillment? I’d have to say in my marriage.

What is your most repetitive, negative thought?

That I need to be leveling up in business, i.e. that I’m never doing enough.

What is your most repetitive, positive thought?

That I’m a badass who can handle anything :) self talk is so important!!

What is one thing that surprised you about adulthood?

That you’re truly on your own. Even with the best support system, ultimately the only person invested in & responsible for reaching your personal goals and pushing your life forward - is you!

What are three things you want to put every woman onto?

1. Life is all about quality over quantity

2. Eat the piece of cake, what’s the point in living if there’s never any sense of enjoyment?

3. Female friendships are everything, cherish them at every stage in life

Rank the following from most to least important:

money, food, sex, love, and laughter (feel free to explain or don’t).

Wow, this is so hard! They’re all important and wouldn’t want to give up any of these, but if I had to rank based on necessity - love, food, money, sex, laughter.

How has your relationship with your parents/ guardians changed in adulthood?

It’s definitely evolved from a child/parent dynamic to more friends/equals. In some ways it’s beautiful seeing your parents as real, imperfect people.

When do you feel most like yourself?

When I am around friends & family.

What is the best compliment someone has ever given you?

Oh, this is a tough one - I had an old boss who told me, after resigning for a career change, that I could have told him I was going to culinary school and he would have no doubt I’d become the best chef there is (the irony - I’m the world’s worst cook, haha). But that he saw me as someone who is going to succeed at any path in life, that was the ultimate compliment.

How do you feel about falling in love?

I believe there’s someone for everyone - and there are all types of love that you’ll experience in your lifetime, if you let it happen.

What is one thing you’re sick of hearing?

Election talk and we’re just getting started - not to take away from the importance of voting. Everyone should vote!

How often do you feel alone?

Very rarely & I am grateful for that.

What is one thing you hope everyone experiences in their lifetime?

A deep love/connection - and traveling to/experiencing places unlike anything they’ve grown up around.

What is one thing you hope no one has to experience in their lifetime?

Infertility - it’s such a painful process of grief & sadness that is all too common, but I wouldn’t wish on anyone.

What is the best decision you’ve ever made?

Marrying my husband, he’s truly my rock and biggest cheerleader. Also, investing in myself in my 20’s (both career-wise & personally) vs. making decisions based around significant others, friends, family, etc.

When do you feel most at ease?

At home :)

What does having a successful life mean to you?

Being able to spend time doing the things you love, with the people you love, without financial stress.

How often do you think about your body?

I’m currently pregnant, so right now - a lot! Haha. But pregnancy aside, almost never. I feel lucky to have been raised in a house where weight & food was never highlighted or made to be an emotional attachment.

When do you ask for help?

After I’ve tried every other avenue.

What is something you feel strongly about?

Living a balanced lifestyle, 80% healthy & 20% indulgence.

BONUS: Tell me something good.

Due in August with a baby girl after 3 years of miscarriage/IVF! :)
