Income: $90,000

Astrological Sign: Pisces Sun, Pisces Moon, Leo Rising

What is your first thought every morning?

What time is it? I have a habit of completely sleeping through my alarm.

What is something you do solely for you?

I play football!! I just finished my first season, and I truly had the most fun I’ve ever had - at every training session and every game. I had never played before and was so so so nervous to start but I even wound up with a player of the match award on the last game of the season!

What is something you dread?

Thinking about what I will do with my career while I live abroad – which is a big goal of mine for my 20’s.

What is something you are looking forward to?

Trips I have planned, my next season of football, upcoming plans with my friends, and food. Always.

When do you feel most accomplished?

When I learn something technical at work, and I understand it, or when I do something well at football training or in a game.

What is something you regret investing in financially?

The university degree I enrolled in and subsequently dropped out of in the first semester - after the census date - so I ended up with $5,000 in student loans. I just paid them off, though!

What is something you regret investing in emotionally?

Friendships at work – earlier in my career – were co-dependent, and it was so exhausting. I’ve definitely realized now that you can meet great people at work and have a lot of fun with them, but everyone has different things going on in life, and not everyone values things in the same way. It’s not worth the same energy you would commit to other friendships.

What are three things you think are absolutely worth the investment?

(financially, emotionally, or time/energy-wise)

1.      Female friendships

2.      Your health, mental and physical

3.      Playing a sport – it’s the best thing I’ve ever done and has helped me invest in points 1 & 2 as well.

When do you feel most creative?

I make TikTok edits of women’s football (lol) – only my Mum and best friend know that. I love choosing which moments from a match work well with the music/vibe I’ve chosen for an edit.

How often do you compare yourself to others? When?

Very often, mainly at work. I’m the only one on my team who doesn’t have a degree, and I feel a bit stupid sometimes, even though I have no real reason to. I do the same job as they do and I do great work. Plus, I don’t even have an interest in accounting (lol).

What is one thing you’d like to thank your past self for?

I’d thank my 18-year-old self for her ambition—because of it, I’ve ended up in a great role doing work I love.

What is one thing you believe about your future self?

That I will be fluent in Spanish. And that I’ll be living in Barcelona.

What is one thing you learned in childhood that you have now had to unlearn in adulthood?

That most things in the supermarket aren’t as expensive as my Mum told me they were, and that I can buy things that aren’t on sale.

Have you ever felt pure joy? When?

Whenever I’m swimming in the ocean. There was one day a couple of years ago, when I went to the island just off the coast of my city (my favorite place in the world) and the weather was so stunning and the water was so calm. I think I spent close to two hours just swimming by myself. But no matter what the weather is, I’m full of joy when I’m in the ocean.

What is something that would feel really good to get off your chest?

I love traveling, and I have so many places I want to go to, but I think I might have to do a lot more solo traveling than I’d like. No one can afford to travel with me, and I feel frustrated by that. I feel guilty saying that because the cost of living is insane right now and it’s not anyone’s fault that they can’t afford to travel.

When do you feel most in your feminine energy?

I feel most in my feminine energy when I spend time with the women in my life; I love them.

What is one interaction that changed your life?

I haven’t had an interaction that changed my life, but whenever someone gives me a specific compliment, it makes me feel really seen and special.

What is something you want to give up?

Wasting time in the morning and getting to work later than I want to. It fucks up my whole day.

What is something you want to take up?

Shopping? Like putting more effort into my style. I fucking hate it but finding clothes I feel good in needs to be more of a priority.

What do you believe is a universal truth?

You have to trust that you made the best decision you could with what you knew at the time. I never regret anything because of this sentiment.

BONUS: Tell me something good.

I feel like I’m progressing really well in therapy at the moment!!
